FINES AND FEES

Fines are assessed as follows:

    Public Library Books...................................................................$.10 per day per book/cassette
    Interlibrary Loans.........................................................................$.10 per day per book/cassette
    Lease Books  (McNaughton)......................................................$.10 per day per book
    Library Videos or DVD's .............................................................$.25 per day per video or DVD

If a book, cassette, video, or DVD is lost, it can be paid for according to its replacement cost.  This amount is determined by looking the item up in the accession records or in the Bowker Annual.

If fines (or any other business transactions made at the library)  are paid for by check, the check must have the writer's name, address, telephone number, and driver's license printed on it.  Returned checks may result in surrender of the patron's library card.

 LOST LIBRARY CARDS:

      If a patron has forgotten or temporarily misplaced his library card, he may not check out books.  a replacement charge of $1.00 will be charged for a card reported lost, and the new card will be mailed to the current home address.
