Meet at Durant’s Market Square at 8:45am to sign in and pick up gloves and trash bags. Stash the trash at Market Square by 11:30am to compete for prizes and enjoy free hot dogs and drinks, and other goodies. Prizes will be given away at Noon.
 
Also we will be taking recyclable Cardboard, Cell Phones, Aluminum Cans, Newspaper at Market Square.

City Hall Roof Bid Specifications
LETTER TO BIDDERS:
 
We are rejecting all Durant City Hall roof bids from 11/16/2009.
 
Please resubmit your roof bid and please be sure and include and or note each of the items below.
 
 
Please include in your bid a statement confirming your proposed roof materials meet or exceed our specifications (copy below) or something equivalent.
 
Submit your updated bid no later than January 8, 2010 @ 2:00 PM.
 
Bid requirements and specifications:
 
1.    Include Performance Bond cost per Oklahoma State Law.
2.    Roofing (see below SF estimate) which must including replacement of substrate (fiber mat(s) / tar paper) which is wet or rotted.  Unit price for replacement of substrate is expected.
3.    Insurance (workman’s comp, liability, vehicle, etc.).
4.    The city will provide a building permit at no cost to bidder.
5.    The city will provide dumpster(s) to haul off debris at no cost to bidder.
6.    Payment terms: The city will pay after receipt of goods / services.
 
Roof material specifications (or equivalent materials and warranty):
 
Thermoplastic formulation consisting of resins, plasticizers, stabilizers, biocides, flame retardants and U.V. absorbents.
 
Color: White
 
Must meet or exceed all major fire and wind code requirements for southeastern Oklahoma. Certifications must include watertight integrity. Must be approved by Factory Mutual as a 1-60,1-75, 1-90, 1-95, 1-105, 1-135, 1-150, 1-165, 1-195, 1-210, 1-270, 1-435, and 1-495 roofing system.
 
Must be listed by Underwriters Laboratories as a Class A, B, & C approved material.
 
Must have been evaluated & approved for the International Building Code (IBC).
Must be ENERGY STAR® Roof Products Program evaluated and rated for high reflectivity (reflects 88% of the sun's energy).
 
Warranty:
 
Full 15-year commercial and 20-year prorated warranty from the roof materials manufacturer in addition to any warranty by roofing contractor. City must not pay for material or labor for warranted repairs or replacement. Warranty must cover consequential damages that result from defects in the manufacturers’ material and/or installation. Warranty must be at no additional charge.
 
Inspection:
 
An extensive final roof installation inspection by roof manufacturer must be included at no cost to the city.
 
Roof area to bid is: approximately 16,000 SF. You are responsible to measure the roof, our estimate is based off aerials and does not include any vertical surfaces.
