The Robert L Williams Public Library was founded in 1921.  It has grown into a modern progressive store house of information resourses, computers, electronic database, online book catalog, and a wireless internet system.   It houses a collection of over 80,000 items including books, DVDs, VHS, Audio Books, CDs, microfilm, periodicals, and electronic resources.   The many services include:  reference, interlibrary loan, geneology resources, meeting rooms, Summer Reading program, exchange programs, copy and fax services.   
Free Library and computer cards for Durant and Bryan County citizens.
