The work on phase I of the US-70 bypass (west & south) should begin in May 2008, pending ODOT issuing work orders. Also, work on phase II (east & south) should begin in late 2008/2009, pending ODOT issuing work orders.
City utility relocation work is progressing on this project currently, ODOT road construction is currently scheduled to begin in mid 2009.
The New Viaduct/Bridge right of way work is being done currently by ODOT, ODOT construction work should begin in 2009.
