The City of Durant is pleased to announce our Employee Spotlight for July 2023.
Zach Lesley is a member of the Street Department crew. He is known for his upbeat attitude and willingness to pitch in.
“Zach is a valuable member of the team,” said Carl Meade, Street Superintendent. “He is never late and always positive.”
Lesley has worked in the street department for almost four years, and he is an asset to the City.
“He can operate any piece of equipment I have,” said Meade. “He’s very dependable.”
His work ethic is recognized by many within Public Works.
“We can call him any time, day or night, and we can count on him to come and help us,” said Public Works Director Phillip Hightower. “I’ve been up all night with him cutting tree limbs before. He’s always about getting the job done.”
When Zach isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with his family.
